The Fire Chief's Association of Broward County is made up of Chief Fire Officers from the 29 municipalities, Broward County, and representatives of Broward's Trauma Agency, the American Red Cross, Division of Forestry, and Broward County Emergency Management.
The Association meets the first Friday of each month and is run by the Executive Board, who are Chief Fire Officers that are elected into the positions of President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Current officers and Past Presidents can be found here.
The Association has formed several long standing committees whose objectives and goals are to research and monitor the latest trends in the Fire and EMS service. Information about the committees' and method of contacting the chairperson of each committee can be found here.
Fifth Annual Charity Golf Tournament - Friday, April 23rd, 2010
Our Fifth Annual Charity Golf Tournament is scheduled for Friday, April 23rd at Jacaranda Country Club in Plantation, FL. Please help by becoming a sponsor, underwriting an expense, donating tournament prizes, or playing in our tournament.
All proceeds from this tournament will directly benefit the American Cancer Society (75%), and the FCABC Community Mentorship Scholarship Fund (25%). Donations are tax deductible due to our 501 C (8) designation.
