The “Infectious Disease/Pandemic Response Guideline” provides direction on “best practice” activity in the single patient scenario. By incorporating this behavior into daily practice, we establish the basic principles, which will work in a larger pandemic environment. <view>

UNIFORM INCIDENT COMMAND PROCEDURES

It is the intent of this manual to serve as a reference and instructional guide for providing a single uniform Incident Command System to ALL of the Broward County, Florida Fire Rescue agencies. <view>

UNIFORM RADIO DESIGNATION POLICY

The policy is intended to provide each fire rescue agency in Broward County with individual radio designations for apparatus and personnel. The policy will utilize the district response/uniform fire station numbering system and uniform apparatus designations as a base. The policy will eliminate duplication of radio designation numbers as well as personnel titles that can be confused with established incident management position titles. The policy will also provide common titles to identify various ranks and staff positions. <view>

The FCABC created the CDRP to provide for the systematic mobilization, deployment, organization, and management of emergency resources throughout Broward County in assisting local agencies in mitigating the effects of any large scale disaster. <view>

This guideline is provided as a means of objectively analyzing multi-jurisdictional fire rescue operations in a post emergency environment. To additionally provide a review and development process through which improved mutual aid methods and operations may be realized. <view>

In an effort to more effectively respond to and mitigate emergencies, inter-departmentally, among all fire-rescue agencies within Broward County, a joint multi-mode mechanism and communications system has been established for requesting mutual aid assistance. <view>
