Committee
The C.E.R.T. Committee is comprised of C.E.R.T. Program Coordinators from the municipalities that have C.E.R.T. programs.
The primary goal of the C.E.R.T. committee is to network and share information and resources throughout Broward County.
The C.E.R.T Committee coordinates two major events a year: the South Florida Citizen Corps/CERT Conference, and South Florida CERT Volunteer Awards Dinner.
The Committee, along with the CERT programs in the County, have been working together to obtain funding through the Urban Area Security Initiative.
The C.E.R.T. Committee meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month. The Committee meets at the Broward County Emergency Operations Center.
